General rules for using Jarriv.ch and the Jarriv platform.

What Jarriv does
Jarriv provides a digital marketplace through which customers can request local deliveries and eligible delivery persons can respond with offers.
Jarriv is not the owner of goods being transported.
Customer accounts
Users must provide accurate information and protect their account credentials.
Users should report unauthorized access immediately.
Delivery requests
Customers must provide accurate information regarding:
- pickup location;
- destination;
- item description;
- size;
- weight;
- requested timeframe;
- special handling requirements.
Customers must not intentionally misrepresent the contents of an item.
Delivery price
Where applicable, the delivery person proposes a delivery price.
The customer may accept or reject the offer.
Before payment, the checkout clearly displays:
- delivery price;
- Jarriv platform fee;
- optional charges;
- total payable in CHF.
Jarriv platform fee
Jarriv may charge a platform fee starting from CHF 2.
The exact platform fee may vary depending on:
- item size;
- weight;
- service type;
- other clearly disclosed criteria.
The exact fee is displayed before payment confirmation.
Payments
Payments happen inside Jarriv through an approved payment provider.
Payment provider: to be confirmed.
Payment options may later include:
- credit/debit card;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- TWINT;
- supported Swiss payment methods.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation rules may depend on whether:
- no delivery person has been accepted;
- a delivery person has been accepted but has not travelled to pickup;
- the delivery person is already travelling;
- the item has already been collected.
Any applicable cancellation fee is shown before confirmation.
Refunds may be issued where appropriate for:
- failed deliveries;
- payment errors;
- technical problems;
- other approved circumstances.
Delivery timing
Estimated arrival and completion times are estimates unless explicitly agreed as a confirmed timeframe.
Customers and delivery persons should communicate through Jarriv if circumstances change.
Tracking
During active deliveries, Jarriv may display the delivery person's approximate or live location to the relevant customer.
Tracking only operates where necessary for the active service.
Prohibited use
Jarriv may not be used for:
- illegal goods;
- stolen goods;
- dangerous substances;
- unlawful weapons;
- fraudulent transactions;
- any activity prohibited by Swiss law.
Support and disputes
Users may contact Jarriv through chatbot support or human support.
Jarriv may review relevant records when investigating disputes, including:
- booking records;
- delivery status;
- delivery photos;
- GPS records;
- chat messages.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Specific liability limits and insurance provisions may be updated after professional legal and insurance review.
Changes
Jarriv may update the Terms from time to time.
Material changes are communicated appropriately.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules.
This document is a provisional Jarriv policy and may be updated following professional legal review and finalization of Jarriv's corporate, payment, insurance and technical structure.
